Why eco-friendly matters

A clean space should never come at the expense of your team.

Conventional commercial cleaners use chemistry that's effective on surfaces but harsh on the people who live in the space afterward. We use products that meet the same effectiveness bar without the trade-off.

Safe for sensitive employees

No residue, no harsh fragrance bombs, no fumes that linger in HVAC. Asthma, allergies, chemical sensitivity — your team won't notice the cleaning, only the clean.

Safe during pregnancy

EPA Safer Choice products avoid known endocrine disruptors and reproductive toxins. Pregnant employees don't have to leave the floor when the crew arrives.

Safe for pets & kids

Daycare facilities, vet offices, family practices, pet-friendly workplaces — our products are formulated for spaces where you can't be sure what gets touched.

Safe for the environment

Biodegradable formulas. Concentrated to reduce shipping. Microfiber technology cuts water use. Sustainable equipment that lasts a decade, not a season.

Safe for your building's certs

If your building is LEED-certified or pursuing it, our service contributes to EQ Credits 3.1–3.6. Documentation provided on request.

Safe for your brand

If sustainability is a brand value, your vendors should reflect it. A janitorial service that quietly poisons the office contradicts the rest of your work.

What you won't find in our supply closet

No chemicals on this list.

✗ Ammonia-based glass cleaners ✗ Quaternary ammonium disinfectants ✗ Phthalate-containing fragrances ✗ Chlorine bleach (for general use) ✗ Petroleum-based degreasers ✗ Triclosan antibacterial soaps ✗ Aerosol propellants ✗ Synthetic "fresh scent" sprays

We use chlorine bleach only when required by medical or health code in specific isolated areas — and only on request, never as a default.

What we actually use

Certified products. Microfiber. Sustainable equipment.

The cleaning chemistry is half the equation. The technique is the other half.

Green Seal certified all-purpose

Plant-based surfactants. Effective on every standard office surface — desks, glass, counters, lobbies.

Hydrogen peroxide disinfectants

EPA-registered, kills the same pathogens as quaternary ammonium but breaks down into water and oxygen.

Microfiber cloths & mops

Trap 99% more particles than cotton. Used with water alone for many surfaces — no chemistry needed.

HEPA-filtered vacuums

Capture 99.97% of particles ≥ 0.3 microns. Critical for allergen and indoor air quality.

EPA Safer Choice glass & degreaser

Ammonia-free formulas. Streak-free results without the chemical haze.

Concentrated, dilute-on-site

Less packaging, less shipping weight, less waste. We ship concentrate and dilute correctly per surface.

Frequently asked

Eco-cleaning questions, answered.

What does Green Seal certified actually mean?

Green Seal is an independent, third-party certification verifying products meet strict health and environmental standards. Certified products must demonstrate reduced toxicity, biodegradability, low VOCs, and minimal environmental impact. Our entire product set is Green Seal or EPA Safer Choice certified — no exceptions.

Is eco-friendly cleaning actually as effective?

Yes — and in many cases more effective. Certified products kill the same pathogens as harsh conventional cleaners without the residue, fumes, or skin irritation. Our crews are trained on the right product for each surface — you get a deeper clean, not a weaker one.

Will it cost more than conventional cleaning?

No. Our pricing is competitive with standard commercial cleaning services. Certified products cost slightly more per gallon but use less per application — net cost difference is negligible. You pay for cleaning quality, not chemistry shortcuts.

Does this help with LEED certification?

Yes. Our service contributes to LEED EB credits for Green Cleaning (EQ Credit 3.1–3.6) including Green Seal certified products, microfiber technology, and sustainable cleaning equipment. Documentation provided for your LEED submission on request.
