Before Ecco existed, our founders Alex and Bianca spent years working inside the facility services industry in New York. They managed crews, handled client accounts, and saw firsthand how the business worked from the inside — the good and the bad.

What they saw too often was an industry that treated cleaning as a commodity. Companies that cut corners to protect margins. Crews that rotated constantly so no one ever learned a client's space. Products chosen for cost, not safety. And a culture where the client only heard from their provider when something went wrong.
