Before Ecco existed, our founders Alex and Bianca spent years working inside the facility services industry in New York. They managed crews, handled client accounts, and saw firsthand how the business worked from the inside — the good and the bad.
What they saw too often was an industry that treated cleaning as a commodity. Companies that cut corners to protect margins. Crews that rotated constantly so no one ever learned a client's space. Products chosen for cost, not safety. And a culture where the client only heard from their provider when something went wrong.
Ecco was founded on the belief that facility services should be done differently. That the people cleaning your space should know it as well as you do. That the products used inside your facility should be safe enough for your children, your pets, and your most vulnerable employees. And that your service provider should feel like a partner — not a vendor you have to chase.
Over 12 years later, that belief hasn't changed. It's become our standard.
